Where is the hotel located?

Hotel Ploberger is located right at Kaiser-Josef-Platz in the centre of Wels. The railway station is a 7-10 minute walk away, the main square just a few minutes, and restaurants, bars and shops are right outside the hotel.

The Messe Wels is within a short walking distance and easy to reach on foot.

Popular destinations include the Welios Science Center, the Angerlehner Museum, the Wels City Museum, the Wels Zoo, Kremsmuenster Abbey and the Schmiding Zoo & Evolution Museum.

Is there a pharmacy nearby?

Yes. There are several pharmacies in the centre of Wels, just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Our reception will gladly tell you the nearest one and its current opening hours or the pharmacy emergency service.

From what time is check-in possible?

From 2:00 pm. Earlier arrival is possible subject to availability; you can leave your luggage at reception at any time.

Until what time is check-out possible?

Until 12:00 noon. Late check-out subject to availability.

Can I arrive after 10:00 pm?

Yes. Please let us know briefly at [javascript protected email address] or +43 7242 62941. Outside reception hours, a 24/7 self-check-in is available.

How does self-check-in work?

After letting us know in advance, you will receive the necessary access details and can arrive around the clock.

Can I store my luggage?

Yes, both on the day of arrival and on the day of departure.

How do I get to the railway station?

Wels railway station is a 7-10 minute walk away. On request, we are happy to arrange a taxi for you.

How do I get to Linz Airport?

We recommend a taxi. Travel time is approx. 15-25 minutes, cost approx. 60 euros per vehicle.

Is there a hotel airport transfer?

We do not operate our own hotel shuttle. However, we are happy to arrange a taxi or a private transfer to Linz Airport for you – simply ask at reception.

What amenities do the rooms have?

Are there rooms with a bathtub?

Yes, the rooms in the Comfort and Junior Suite categories have a bathtub.

Are there rooms with separate beds (twin)?

Yes. Almost all double rooms can be offered as twin rooms with separate beds; a few rooms are excepted. Please let us know your preference when booking.

Are there quiet rooms?

Yes. Please let us know when booking.

Are there rooms for allergy sufferers?

Special anti-allergy bed linen is available. Please let us know before arrival.

Are there carpeted floors?

No. All rooms have parquet or high-quality decorative flooring.

Are there mattress toppers?

Yes, in firmer and softer versions.

Can I get an iron or ironing board?

Yes, we will gladly bring it to your room.

Families

Are there family rooms?

Yes. Family rooms have a double bed, a sofa bed and a bathtub and offer space for up to 4 people.

Are there cots/baby beds?

Yes, free of charge subject to availability.

Are there extra beds?

Yes, from the Comfort category. Cost: 20 euros per night.

Is there a bed rail to prevent falling out?

Yes. If your child sleeps in the parents' bed, we provide a bed rail on request. Please ask when booking or at reception.

Is there a changing table?

Yes. Please ask at reception – we are happy to help.

Is there toys for children?

Yes. For our youngest guests we have a children's suitcase with toys at reception. Just ask for it.

Yes, two accessible rooms with an alarm button, a barrier-free shower and wheelchair-accessible space.

Is the hotel accessible?

Yes. The entrance, car park, restaurant, public areas and lift are all accessible.

Yes, available at reception.

Breakfast

When is breakfast served?

Monday to Friday 6:30 am to 10:30 am, on weekends and public holidays 7:00 am to 11:00 am.

Can external guests have breakfast?

Yes. Price: 27 euros per person. Children aged 0-5 free, 6-14 years 14 euros, from 15 years 27 euros.

What makes the breakfast special?

Homemade jams, specialities from our own butchery, regional products, fresh juices, a waffle station, our own honey and, in summer, breakfast in the garden.

Are there vegan or gluten-free options?

Yes. We are happy to help you choose suitable products.

Is there breakfast in the room?

Yes, for a surcharge of 7 euros per room.

Can I get a packed lunch?

Yes. Please order by 8:00 pm the day before.

Dogs

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, 25 euros per night and dog.

Are dogs allowed at breakfast?

Calm dogs may join you at breakfast.

Are there places to walk nearby?

Yes. The city centre, the banks of the Traun and green spaces are easy to reach.

WiFi

Is there free WiFi?

Yes. Network: Ploberger Hotel. You will receive the password at check-in; it is also printed on the sleeve of your room card. The WiFi speed is 500 Mbit/s.

Smoking

Where can I smoke?

The hotel is a non-smoking property. Smoking is possible in the courtyard. Reception will gladly show you the way.

Yes, with direct lift access to the hotel.
