From 2 April to 26 September 2027, Wels will become the centre of Austrian garden culture. The Wels State Garden Show 2027 is one of the most important events in Upper Austria and transforms large parts of the city into an extensive experience world focused on nature, gardens, landscape architecture and quality of life.
Under the motto “City of Gardens”, six different garden worlds will be created across approximately 22 hectares of exhibition space, taking visitors on a varied journey through plants, design, nature and recreation.
The State Garden Show combines traditional garden art with modern ideas for sustainable urban development. Visitors can look forward not only to an impressive variety of plants, but also to an extensive supporting programme featuring events, lectures, exhibitions, culinary experiences, cultural activities and family-friendly attractions.
